My first stop was Marks & Spencer, I fell in love with this daisy jumper the minute I saw it in-store.
It is soft to the touch, not at all itchy and it keeps me beautifully warm. I think the detail on it is really pretty and an absolute bargain for £35.

I am clearly all about the grey this autumn, but this time it is a leopard print instead of daisies! My favourite detail about this jumper is the sleeves, they are absolutely fabulous, revealing just enough wrist to make this jumper stand out from the rest.
Another reason to get your jumper fix at M&S is the amazing christmas beauty advent calendar. An absolute bargain at £35, when you spend £35 on clothing, beauty and home.

I couldn't resist this cardigan, it has a loose boyfriend fit, it's very soft and not at all itchy, which for me is very important. I thought it would be good on very cold days, over a jumper for a layered look. I love nothing more than feeling warm and cosy in a lovely cardigan in winter, which leads me on to cardigan No.2......

Gap is another wonderful shop for winter essentials, I buy a jumper/ cardigan from here every year when they have their VIP 40% off. The quality is always good and they have a very distinct style of their own which I have always liked. This cardigan is top of my wardrobe staple list, it will go with all your outfits as it is such a neutral colour and it will be great in the spring too instead of a coat.
