After much deliberation and hours online, we finally booked our holiday. Fin has worked his socks off over the last five years, which has meant we only managed the odd week here and there. This was going to be our first two week holiday abroad in years and we wanted it to be perfect.
We couldn't decide between Ibiza, Crete and Cyprus. I searched villas in all three countries, but availability was limited as we wanted the first two weeks in August.
Finally, when I was on the brink of giving up (for fear that my eyes would turn square!) I came across www.cyprus-villa-retreats.com . The search was over, I spoke to David, he was very helpful and patient with me while I decided which villa to go for. He had stayed in the villas I was choosing between and was able to describe the hot tubs, pool size, location etc perfectly.
In the end we decided upon two villas, the first week in Villa Hadi in a quiet residential area close to Peyia and the second in Villa Marina in Coral Bay. This was the perfect set up so we could experience the quiet and peaceful hills of Peyia, followed by the excitement of Coral Bay's restaurants, bars and beautiful beach, all within walking distance.
Cyprus Villa Retreats is a truly fantastic company, nothing is too much trouble, they can arrange excursions, beauty treatments, car rental, even a supermarket shop upon arrival.
Any issues you may have during your stay, they are there to help, we couldn't work the coffee machine so we sent a quick email and within ten minutes someone arrived at the villa to help us.
It was my first time in Cyprus and it is a truly beautiful Island. The weather is glorious and the locals are very friendly. I thoroughly recommend coming here on your next holiday and booking a beautiful villa for the ultimate luxurious experience.
